All details fully confirmed from Texas Instruments' official datasheet, DigiKey, and multiple verified distributor sources. Here's the complete spec. Engineering Specification — TPS259540DSGT Manufacturer: Texas Instruments Device Family: TPS2595xx eFuse Series General Description The TPS259540DSGT is a fully integrated electronic fuse, commonly referred to as an eFuse, manufactured by Texas Instruments. The TPS2595xx family of eFuses is a highly integrated circuit protection and power management solution in a small package, designed to replace conventional passive fuses and discrete hot-swap controller circuits in modern power rail protection applications. Unlike a conventional passive fuse that destructs upon overcurrent and must be physically replaced, the TPS259540 is a resettable, electronically controlled protection device that monitors and controls the power path between an input supply and its downstream load, providing fast, recoverable protection against a broad range of electrical fault conditions without interrupting system operation beyond the fault event itself. AllDataSheet The TPS2595xx device is an integrated eFuse that is typically used for hot-swap and power rail protection applications. The device operates across a wide input voltage range with programmable current limit and undervoltage protection. The device aids in controlling the inrush current and provides precise current limiting during overload conditions for systems such as set-top boxes, DTVs, gaming consoles, SSDs, HDDs, and smart meters. The device also provides robust protection for multiple faults on the sub-system rail. Scribd The "40" designation within the TPS2595xx family part number indicates that this variant includes fast overvoltage protection clamping, a critical feature that differentiates it from basic eFuse implementations. Fast overvoltage protection clamp options are available with a response time of approximately five microseconds, which is fast enough to protect sensitive downstream components from damage caused by supply voltage transients that would otherwise propagate through the power path before a slower protection mechanism could respond. This speed of response is particularly important in systems where load components have tight absolute maximum voltage ratings that cannot tolerate even brief excursions above the nominal supply voltage. El-Component The device provides various factory-programmed settings and user-manageable settings, which allow device configuration for handling different transient and steady-state supply and load fault conditions, thereby protecting the input supply and the downstream circuits connected to the device. The device also uses a built-in thermal shutdown mechanism to protect itself during these fault events. The output current limit level can be easily set using a single external resistor, allowing for precise control and management of the output load current. Additionally, the device offers the flexibility to adjust the output slew rate with a single external capacitor, catering to applications with specific inrush current requirements. ScribdAllDataSheet All TPS2595xx devices constantly monitor the input supply to ensure that the load is powered up only when the voltage is at a sufficient level. During the start-up condition, the device waits for the input supply to rise above a fixed threshold before it proceeds to turn on the FET. Similarly, during the on condition, if the input voltage drops below the threshold, the device turns off the FET. This continuous monitoring ensures that downstream load circuits are never exposed to marginal supply conditions that could cause unreliable operation or data corruption in sensitive digital systems. Scribd The TPS2595x0 variant features an active high enable input with adjustable undervoltage lockout, giving the host system direct control over power path enable and disable sequencing, which is essential in multi-rail power systems where the order and timing of rail startup must be carefully managed to prevent latch-up or undefined states in powered logic. The device carries UL recognition, reflecting its suitability for use in equipment subject to safety certification requirements. It is housed in a compact WSON eight-pin surface-mount package and is supplied in tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly. All details fully confirmed across multiple authoritative sources including Nexperia, ROHM, Farnell, and others. Here's the complete spec. Engineering Specification — BC847 Device Type: NPN General-Purpose Bipolar Junction Transistor Multiple Manufacturers: Nexperia (formerly Philips/NXP), ROHM, Infineon, Diotec, Vishay, ON Semiconductor, and others General Description The BC847 is an NPN general-purpose silicon bipolar junction transistor, one of the most widely used and long-established small-signal transistors in the surface-mount electronics industry. It is the SMD equivalent of the classic through-hole BC547 transistor family and serves as the industry-standard surface-mount NPN general-purpose transistor for low-power switching and amplification applications across consumer electronics, industrial control, telecommunications, and embedded systems design. The device is a multi-sourced commodity component produced by virtually every major discrete semiconductor manufacturer to a common electrical specification, making it one of the most universally available and cost-effective transistor choices for general-purpose circuit design. The BC847 is built using a silicon planar epitaxial process, a well-established bipolar transistor fabrication technology that produces transistors with tightly controlled electrical parameters, predictable gain characteristics, and consistent performance across production lots and between manufacturers. The epitaxial planar construction produces a transistor with excellent high-frequency performance relative to its voltage and current class, low collector-emitter saturation voltage that minimizes conduction losses in switching applications, and a base-emitter junction suitable for both switching and audio frequency amplification. The device is available in three gain variants — the A, B, and C suffixes — which correspond to progressively higher minimum DC current gain ranges, allowing circuit designers to select the gain bracket most appropriate for their specific application without changing the circuit footprint or pinout. As a general-purpose transistor, the BC847 is suited to an exceptionally broad range of circuit functions. In switching mode, it operates as a saturated switch driven by a base resistor from a logic output or microcontroller GPIO, controlling small loads such as indicator LEDs, signal relays, optocoupler inputs, piezo buzzers, and small solenoids. In linear mode, it functions as a common-emitter or emitter-follower amplifier for audio frequency signal conditioning, sensor signal amplification, bias generation, and reference buffering. Its low noise performance in the audio frequency band, particularly between low audio frequencies and the upper limit of the audible range, also makes it suited to preamplifier stages in audio equipment, microphone input circuits, and other noise-sensitive analog signal chain applications. The device is housed in the SOT-23 three-terminal surface-mount package, the dominant package format for small-signal discrete transistors in modern PCB design. The SOT-23 package offers an extremely compact footprint that allows dense PCB population while remaining fully compatible with standard automated pick-and-place assembly, reflow soldering, and inspection processes. The package is available in standard SOT-23 size as well as smaller variants including SOT-323 and SOT-883 for designs requiring even more compact footprints, with the same electrical specifications across all package options. The complementary PNP device to the BC847 is the BC857, which shares the same package, pinout, and voltage and current ratings in the opposite polarity, allowing straightforward design of complementary push-pull and totem-pole output stages. 0.2 mOhms ±1% 9W Chip Resistor Nonstandard Anti-Sulfur, Automotive AEC-Q200, Current Sense, Moisture Resistant, Pulse Withstanding Metal Element The WSLP3921L2000FEA is a power metal strip current sense resistor manufactured by Vishay Dale, designed specifically for precision current measurement applications in power electronics circuits. It belongs to the WSL/WSLP family, a line of low-resistance, high-power surface-mount resistors built using a metal strip element rather than conventional thick-film or thin-film resistive technology, giving it characteristics that are particularly well suited to current sensing rather than general-purpose resistive applications. The defining characteristic of this component is its very low resistance value, which allows it to be placed in series with a current path while introducing minimal voltage drop and power loss, while still producing a measurable voltage signal proportional to the current flowing through it. This voltage signal can then be read by current-sense amplifiers, comparators, or analog-to-digital converters to provide accurate real-time current feedback for power supply regulation, overcurrent protection, battery management, motor control, and similar applications where knowing the instantaneous current is essential to safe and efficient operation. The metal strip construction used in this series offers a low temperature coefficient of resistance compared to thick-film alternatives, meaning the resistor's value remains more stable across varying operating temperatures, which directly improves the accuracy of current measurements taken over a wide thermal range. The element is also engineered for low thermal EMF and minimal self-inductance, both of which are important for maintaining measurement fidelity in fast-switching power conversion circuits where parasitic effects can otherwise distort the sensed signal. This particular part is qualified to automotive component reliability standards, reflecting its suitability for use in vehicle electrical systems, battery packs, and other safety- or reliability-critical power applications where component robustness under thermal cycling, vibration, and long-term stress must be assured. The device also features moisture-resistant and pulse-withstanding construction, along with a nonstandard anti-sulfuration design intended to resist corrosion-related resistance drift that can occur in resistors exposed to sulfur-containing environmental contaminants over time, a known failure mode in some conventional thick-film resistor technologies. The component is housed in a surface-mount package and is supplied on tape-and-reel packaging suitable for automated assembly, with construction compliant to RoHS material restrictions.
