Using AI to edit Eagle Projects
Lena is an audio product engineer working on car-audio retrofit hardware. Eagle has been retired from her team's workflow, and the amplifier at U11 is no longer available for the next build. The replacement must keep the existing speaker and supply connections.
She asks Flux to update the circuit and board together:
"The PAM8406 amplifier (U11) is not available from our distributors anymore. Find an in-stock replacement amplifier that works with the same speakers and supply, swap it in the schematic and on the PCB, update the support parts, and tell me what changed."
One working day
- Morning: Flux selects PAM8403 as the replacement for U11.
- Midday: The schematic and PCB use the new land pattern and updated support parts.
- Afternoon: Flux places TP1 on the board and connects it to the 5 V supply net.
The three checkpoints move from part selection to the board test point in the same design update.
The board keeps its existing outline and mounting pattern as the enclosure reference. TP1 gives Lena a place to measure the 5 V supply while she reviews the new amplifier and its support parts. Start the next amplifier-board update in Flux.
